Today 10th November, 2018 marks four years to the day that we signed on the dotted line and finally took possession of our newly built villa, Florida Delight, after initially choosing the plot and design back in February. We had our first holiday in the villa in January 2015 and at that time we bought a book that we leave in the villa for guests to write in and leave any comments. Some people do and some don't but whenever any comments have been left we always enjoy reading them and they always make us smile. Hopefully others who stay here and read the book feel the same. Anyway, we thought it would be nice to capture here on our blog all of the comments that former guests have been kind enough to take the time to write. Thank you to all for your contributions and for any our little book receives in the future.

This villa, Florida Delight, was completed in December 2014 and together with my parents and our two sons (aged 24 and 27) we were the first people to stay here between 3rd -17th January 2015.
Upon arrival it was the first time that any of us had seen the villa furnished so it was an amazing experience for us all to wander around each room and see what a fantastic job the interior designer had done in furnishing the house. Even after two weeks we are in awe at how beautiful the house and its decor is and feel absolutely delighted with it all.
During our two week stay we enjoyed both time at the villa, relaxing around the pool as well as visiting various attractions. Places that we particularly enjoyed were Universal Studios especially Harry Potter World. Would have to say though that although we loved the ride in The Hogswart School it was definitely too much for my 80 year old parents!
We didn't want to do theme parks every day so we went down to Kissimmee State Park and enjoyed a guided segway tour during which we saw a bald eagle, wild deer and an armadillo. This experience was one of the biggest hits with us all, appealing to all age ranges.
Celebration is always a worthwhile trip and is only about 20 minutes drive from the villa. We particularly enjoyed lunch sat out on the veranda of the beautiful hotel overlooking the lake. The ice cream from the ice cream parlour was a favourite with us too.
We enjoyed lunch at Croc's, situated within the amazing Omni Hotel at Champion's Gate. A lovely venue for lunch and not too far to drive.
It is also well worth going next door to the Providence Resort and having lunch at their Golf House. The food and service are very good and if you play golf the course is beautiful and open to the public too.
Our sons hired a car and went down to Miami for three days (3.5 hour’s drive away) so while they were away we visited Bok Tower Gardens. This was a lovely relaxing place to spend a day and a nice change from the hub bub of theme parks.
A great highlight of our son's holiday was going to the Amway Centre to watch a basketball game of the Orlando Magic Team.

We had the great pleasure of being the first ever guests to use this beautiful villa. From the warm January sun to the relaxing pool and jacuzzi everything was perfect.
The highlights of our stay were the tasteful way in which the villa was furnished and the mind boggling dinners we consumed at nearby restaurants and above all the cheap petrol!
A holiday we shall never forget.

This was a short vacation planned for our grandchildren. The purpose of our trip was to visit Legoland. We have been to Florida numerous times over the years.
There were in our group our two children, their spouses and our 5 grands. Legoland was great as they love lego. We cannot say enough about your vacation home. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kids ages 2-8 said they loved the house and the pool was great.
The house was so beautifully decorated. We have stayed in many houses over the years but this is definitely one of the best.
I cannot say enough also about the owners of the villa. They were so prompt in returning our emails and even checked on us when we arrived. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

We have been fortunate to have visited Florida many times and have spent great times with family in a number of villas in Orlando. This time it was just the two of us on a last minute break. This is by far the nicest villa we have been in, the layout is perfect and the decor and quality of furnishings second to none. This trip was about relaxation for us and we certainly found that with frozen cocktails by the pool! After many years of being full-on packed days it has been lovely to see that you can have the quieter life too. Thank you Nichola and Richard for letting us spend time in your lovely home. We also have had the great fortune of spending the last 10 years holidaying in Orlando, visiting many of the popular developments with four children. We are very choosy when it comes to selecting a vacation home i.e safety, location, facilities, decor. We are very impressed with Florida Delight. It's been a pleasure staying here and are sad to leave but hope to return soon!!

Looking for a villa took us hours as a family. We had high standards and loved the look of this villa. On arrival we were not disappointed. It was clean and very tastefully decorated. We have really enjoyed the pool and spent a jacuzzi light evening relaxing. I would not hesitate recommending this villa to others and we are sad to leave. Thank you for letting us share your beautiful Florida home for the last two weeks.
Even though we were a party of seven we never felt crowded in the house. There are plenty of areas to relax and chill as well as communal areas to eat, relax and play games.
The pool area is so relaxing after a day out at the theme/national parks.
The attractions are never too far away and the motorways get you there quickly. I would highly recommend dolphin spotting at St Pete's beach, airboat alligator spotting and nature segway rides! For someone who is scared of rides I have become a ride enthusiast after visiting Universal Studios!
We will definitely be returning.

Absolutely top notch pad! We have had a wonderful two week stay - the house and the plethora of things to do here has far outweighed our expectations. The house has everything + that you could need and Orange Cosmos Boulevard is superbly and attractively designed. It is peaceful with a natural feel, but so near all the attractions and within easy distance to an array of state parks. I would highly recommend a trip to Blue Springs and Kissimmee State Park. Seeing dolphins on a sail boat off St Pete's Beach has been a highlight. A fab house and pool - we look forward to our next visit! Thanks to Nichola and Richard for a 5* stay.

We've been to Florida many times but this is by far the nicest villa we've ever stayed in. So spacious and the outside space is so relaxing. We will especially miss those huge beds, they are amazing!

We were lucky enough to stay in this beautiful villa for 3 weeks. There is nothing we can fault about it from the tasteful decor to the facilities, the pool & outside area, everything. It is by far the best villa we have rented here. We would definitely recommend. "Wild Florida" to anyone who fancies doing the airboat ride - it was fantastic. Loved doing the parks again too, but enjoyed the whole experience of being out here again.
Thank you Nichola & Richard, you have both been so helpful all along. We hope to be staying here again!
PS. My 13 year old daughter chose Florida Delight out of the many villas we looked at - she has excellent taste!

We have enjoyed our family vacation here on Watersong. What a beautiful experience we have had from a lovely home. 6 bedrooms for all of our grandkids and friends Rita and Shelby from Austin, Texas. Everything was very clean when we arrived here, the weather nice and all the accommodation here at the house. Thank you all for making our stay a non forgettable moment. My 19th grandchild is turning 1 on August 28th - 2018 and we came to Disneyworld to celebrate her first year of life. Amalee Rain Maldorado. It has been a holiday of a lifetime! Florida Delight has played no small part in making it so. The only problem is that Orlando having so much to offer we would have liked another week here just to relax by the pool!
As a family with young children (Rhys 7, Alexander 6 and Lara 3) the theme parks here are magical to visit and enjoy., not only as adults but through their eyes too. Our favourites were Universal and Epcot.
We eat at Champions Gate a few times, you may have to wait for a table but they are normally ready before they say. Millers is great, especially for sports fans. Red Robin & Chilli's have i-pad type devices on the tables to keep the kids amused. All have great children's menus.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again sometime in the future!
