Central Florida Welcome Center and links for ordering tickets

Whilst Central Florida's Polk County is just minutes from the gates of the world's most famous family attractions, it's got so much more to offer your vacation than just rides and theme parks, however much fun these may be. There are so many sporting activities to choose from, parks and gardens to visit and amazing state parks where you can get away from it all with a walk, picnic, cycling or even a kayak ride.

The staff at the Central Florida Welcome Center  are experts on all that is in the area and can provide you with a wealth of information. The Welcome Center is also a nice place to call into because as well as all that you would expect there in term of information, guides, maps and tickets it is also a nice space to walk round as they have one or two exhibits, an outside deck overlooking a pond with fish in it and some toilets. It is just across the main highway US-27 across from Posner Park retail area.

 One of the most frequent questions we get asked about is where is the best place to purchase tickets for the various attractions especially to the main theme parks of Disney, Universal and SeaWorld. There are many places to buy park tickets and if you shop around you will no doubt find a price/package that suits you. A couple of online sites that frequently get a positive mention are Floridatix which is exclusive to the UK and UndercoverTourist. In the past we have bought tickets in advance from Floridatix and were happy with what we bought but no more so than when we have gone to the Welcome Center and bought from there. It also feels more reassuring to go and physically speak to a sales person and have a place to go back to if we needed to if there was a query especially as tickets to the attractions are a significant amount of money especially if buying for a number of people. We have not used UndercoverTourist but a lot of people seem to recommend them on various Orlando Facebook groups but having just looked on Trustpilot their reviews are a mixed bag. We can only go on our own experience and what we have been happy with and  there may be better options that are online so these are just suggestions.  However, we have looked around at prices for theme parks online but from our own experience found that the deals are just as good when purchased through the Welcome Center and you can buy them online through the link below or call in in person.

We always call in as the Welcome Center is worth a look in as very nice as a venue and the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. For us though we found that by purchasing tickets from the Welcome Center has meant that we have always been able to get exactly what we want and for us that tends to be one day at a park of our choice rather than what tends to come up on online sites which is multiple days at multiple parks some of which we aren't necessarily wanting to visit.
