When do I have to pay the initial deposit and how much is it?

Payments depend upon the timeframe for renting our property. For a vacation start day over 270 days Payment 1 - £200 / $350 non-refundable booking deposit (this becomes the refundable security deposit on Payment 3) within 3 working days of the date of the initial booking. Failure to pay the deposit within this period (without prior consent from the Owner) will result in your booking being cancelled. Payment 2 - 25% of the total booking amount paid 270 days of your stay (the date will be sent to you). Payment 3 - 75% of the booking amount paid 90 days before your stay (again the date will have been specified when a quote was given).

For a last minute booking?

If the booking is made within 90 days of arrival at Florida Delight, then full payment must be made at the time of booking.

How do I pay for the booking?

Payments can be made either via Paypal or directly into our English / American bank account(s), details of which we provide via email.

If I cancel my booking what amount of refund will I get?

We realise that 'events happen in life' which mean that your travel plans / vacation has to change and we deal with these on a sympathetic basis. Please inform us asap of any changes that will affect your holiday. How far in advance of our stay will we receive check-in details?

You will be given your check-in details, from us via email, 2 weeks before your arrival date.

Is the price we pay for our booking guaranteed?

The prices quoted are subject to change. However, the rental price for the vacation home is fully guaranteed once the deposit has been paid and the acknowledgement/receipt has been issued by the Owner.

When will I receive back my refundable deposit?

The refundable deposit will be scheduled to be refunded within 28 days after Guests have departed from the villa.

Is pool heating included in the rental price?

No. If pool heating is required, this should be requested at the time of booking. An additional charge will be levied and must be paid for when settling the final balance. Pool heat varies for the time of the year: December and January = $30 / night November and February = $25 / night October and March = $20 / night and April to September = $15 / night. Note: we do not do separate Spa / Jacuzzi heating, it is all part of the same pricing. What temperature can I expect? - Pool Heat is set at 87oF and Spa / Jacuzzi temperature to 102oF. Pool heating (and therefore Spa) is set on a timer from 7.00 am until 9.00 pm (14 hours a day).

What time can we check into the villa and what is the check-out time on our day of departure?

The vacation home is available after 4:00 pm (local time) on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 am (local time) on the day of departure.

Is it possible to arrange a late check-out on the day of departure?

This would be at the Owners discretion and dependant on back to back bookings.

How far in advance of our stay will we receive check-in details?

You will be given your check-in details, from us, via email 2 weeks before your arrival date.

Who would we contact if we have any problems when we are staying at the villa?

We have a Management company who are based in Orlando and local to the villa. Their contact details are available in the folder of Information for Guests which is located in the villa. We ALWAYS try to contact vacationers within 48 hours of arrival to check that all is well.

Do you supply towels?

Do you supply towels?

Yes. Every bathroom is made up with towels upon your arrival. There is also a cupboard, located in the upstairs landing area, in which a good supply of additional towels is stored. Towels can always be washed using the in-villa laundry facilities.

Does the villa have laundry facilities?

The villa has a washing machine, tumble dryer, an iron and ironing board.

Are there any hairdryers available in the villa?

Yes, all five bathrooms have a hairdryer for guests to use during their stay.

Do you supply any baby equipment?

Yes. If requested in advance, the Management Company will install stair gates and put up a cot. There is also a lightweight baby stroller and a high chair. Upon arrival at the villa all guests will have the safety fence in place in front of the outside pool. Groups without young children can take the safety fence down during their stay but for those groups with young children the fence must stay in place for their protection.

Is there a BBQ available for use at the villa?

No, we don't have a BBQ for use at the villa. However, should you want the use of one during your stay we can organise one for you to hire (cost approximately $68 / week - tax included). If you hire a BBQ it will be delivered to you with a full bottle of gas and utensils. Floridian law forbids the use of a BBQ within the screened pool enclosure; it must be positioned outside of the screened enclosure away from the house. Any damage to the house or the pool screen caused by use of the BBQ will be chargeable, and deducted from your security deposit.

Is the pool at the Club House on Watersong heated?

Yes, the pool, which is available to any guest staying on Watersong, is heated from the beginning of December until early April.
